Beta-1,3-Glucan

Beta-l,3-glucan is a polysaccharide (a complex type of carbohydrate molecule) with immune-stimulating properties. Specifically, it stimulates the activity of macrophages, immune cells that destroy cellular debris, microorganisms, and abnormal cells by surrounding and digesting them.

Beta-l,3-D-glucan is a supplemental form of beta-1,3-glucan made from the cell walls of baker’s yeast. Despite its origin, it does not contain any yeast proteins. It is useful for treating many bacterial, viral, and fungal diseases. It can also kill tumor cells and increase bone marrow production.

Energy is lost from a household through static as well as dynamic processes. Both human neglect and ignorance too are possible contributors. Educating the end users why it is necessary to use energy more efficiently, how each individual can contribute towards this goal, when and where it can be implemented are some factors to be addressed for efficient energy usage.

Identify your energy thieves!
Energy is wasted only where it is used.

Primarily your buildings construction and envelope is responsible for a good amount of energy lost without even your realizing it.
Secondarily the usage of various equipment and utensils that need electrical energy and fossil fuels for their operation.

An early glimpse of the 21st century automobile came not from Henry Ford or a formula one pit lane, but from the pen of Jules Verne. “The energy of tomorrow is water broken down into hydrogen and oxygen using electricity,” he wrote in The Mysterious Island in 1874. “These elements will secure the earth’s power supply for an indefinite period.”

After more than a century of the internal combustion engine, car manufacturers are now ploughing billions into developing alternative fuel technologies to reduce depen dence on finite oil supplies. The most promising contenders borrow from Verne’s vision, using hydrogen fuel cells – a technology discovered in 1839 – to turn the wheels and leave nothing but water vapour in their wake.

SR&ED are a very important and significant financial aid to companies that make new technological discoveries. They exist in Canada and help promote growth through the development and marketing of innovative new technologies. It works almost like a tax credit that companies in the US receive. In Canada, qualified companies receive a check from the government for up to 70% of all salaries of those involved with the development of these new software and technologies. This saves companies a significant amount of money because they can save themselves from having to pay almost 70% of these employees salary. This is a significant incentive and profit booster for Canadian companies.
